I would be great if we could get one main pastor to speak like a pastor Mark (or a great evangelist like a Decrease Dwayne) some local speakers and some close to home (New Life grown) speaker.

ok time for my 2 cents...
so far i like the idea of Battle Cry Chicago. I also like Contra Corriente Chicago (i'm down with anything spanish- we ARE a bi-lingual community of churches after all)
Why couldn't we get at least one bi-lingual band?
we should definitely invite other churches. i think we could hit the 1000 mark if we really prayed it up & focused our efforts on this (after the mission trips) u start talking with other youth pastors yet? let's collaborate!
i like the idea of sports events but what about those youth who aren't sporty? i always disliked the girls standing around watching the guys play (although we could have a girls b-ball too) but what about a fashion workshop for the girls? i just did a modesty study using material from nancy lee demoss with a couple girls i'm discipling. good stuff. i have lots of ideas with this one...
i still think we should get michael gungor...

i can't be at the planning meetings cuz i'm at the mission meetings. but i want to be part of this for sure.

Danny Lopez would be the top of my list for an outside speaker. We had him for our last retreat and our youth said after ATF that they liked him better than anyone who spoke at ATF. His website is www.lopezoutloud.com
